About
The Generalist Journal came about through conversations with friends at Florida State, where they would ask me to generally describe concepts ranging anywhere from what it means to short-sell a stock or the difference between socialism and communism. The frequency of them asking me to “generally describe” these various topics gave me the idea to simplify these topics and provide real-world context in written form.
Therefore, the overarching goal of The Generalist Journal is to promote civic education while encouraging others to become “Generalists” without having to filter through over-complicated and convoluted explanations. In writing these articles. I aim to not only share applicable knowledge on the topic but also supplement explanations with citable facts and examples to ensure maximum accuracy.
